The Seagate at last came up with its first USB 3.0 hard drive. The Seagate`s new Seagate Black ARMOR PS110 3.0 performance kit is ensured to give high data transfer speed of 3X which will be much faster then USB 2.0 drives. The new Seagate Black ARMOR PS110 enables you to transfer your 25GB HD movie in just 4 minutes which is really fast as compared to the USB 2.0 which would take around 14 minutes to transfer that amount of data.
But the most attracting part of this kit is that it comes with all the things that you may need to upgrade your computer as per the USB 3.0 which includes PC cables, PC card adaptor etc. apart to this you will also find a complete backup software suite which protects backup files with AES 256 bit encryption. The Seagate Black ARMOR PS110 has been launched with
Seagate USB 3.0 Hard Drive
the price tag of $179.99 for 500GB. With the launch of USB 3.0 a
cold war has been started and hopefully all the other companies will
soon release there versions in order to compete the Seagate Black ARMOR
PS110.
Most of you also have heard about the launch of Asus premium
motherboards featuring USB 3.0 ports by the end of this year. It seems
by the end of this we are going to replace the USB 2.0 with the higher
USB 3.0 alternative. The capability of the USB 3.0 to deliver HD
resolution would also make it common ports for transferring of HD
signals along with the HDMI, RGB, Display ports.
